Candidate Profile The Creative Technologies Curriculum is primarily designed for individuals with work experience and/or undergraduate or graduate degrees in studio art, art history, design, animation, instructional technology, or the philosophy of educational technology. Candidates for the certificate would ideally be art educators who want to include technologies in their teaching, as well as creative technologists or new media artists who want to teach, either in K-12, higher education, or non-traditional environments.
The Creative Technologies Curriculum is offered in two ways: 1) as a stand-alone Advanced Certificate; 2) as a concentration within the current Ed.M. and Ed.D. degrees in Art and Art Education.
Admission's Requirements The program accepts students on a rolling basis. CTC requires all applicants to have a Bachelor degree and a background in either art, technology, or education. In addition to the TC admission requirements, candidates need to submit an art, design, and/or teaching portfolio. This portfolio of 10 items may include digital images of your or your student’s work, publications or other professional materials related to your experience.
